We’re not sure when to expect a new project from Rick Ross, but the MMG boss has been a lot more active recently. Both on the feature and solo side of things. After paying tribute to Shawty Lo with a remix of “Im Da Man” this weekend, Ricky Rozay keeps the music flowing out to start off the week. On the new track “Supa Cindy,” Ross connects with Scrilla and Sam Sneak. The track takes its name from Miami’s 99 JAMZ radio personality Supa Cindy.

In the midst of Meek Mill’s Twitter tirade, his MMG boss Rick Ross rolls out a video for “Family Ties,” a cut off last year’s album Hood Billionaire. In the Ryan Snyder-directed clip, which co-stars his rumored girlfriend Lira Mercer, Rozay luxuriates in Milan, clad in fine white furs and large rings, gazing out with a melancholy air over the city’s gondolas and parks.
Women count euros and pour champagne while Ross tours churches, old cemeteries, and fields of tulips. We perceive the cinematic grandeur of an old Italian mafia don, eulogizing all his old comrades now dead or in jail. It’s lonely at the top.
