In part one Wyclef talks about the keys to his longevity in the industry and tells stories of being in the studio with Whitney Houston, Destiny’s Child, Big Pun, and more. He says of being in the studio with Beyonce, “She has absorbed the entire game in a graceful way and has completely learned it,” and details why he compared her to Lauryn upon their first meeting.
In part two Wyclef walks Chino through The Fugees signing their deal in 1992, detailing him coming from his job at Burger King to the label building to sign it and their first album flopping. He of course speaks on The Fugees reuniting saying if it were to happen it should happen right now and recalls Bono of U2 calling The Fugees the hip-hop Rolling Stones. Plus he says he will be making a surprise visit at SXSW this year!
